EA confirm a European release for the next title in the eagerly awaited Sims franchise.
After the confirmation that The Sims Online would be released in the US before Christmas (17/12), EA today announced an official European release date for the latest title in the stupidly selling series.
It had been previously feared that EA would snub Europe because of its online play, however the size of the title means that this is the first dedicated online title EA have released in Europe; it certainly seems EA have got big plans for this one, hopefully kicking Europe into the world of online games.
For those who havenât heard anything about the title, The Sims Online takes Will Wrightâs creation to the next logical step; cyberspace! Here your simâs will be able to chat and mingle with thousands of other simâs from all over the world; if any game can get online to the mass-market itâs this one.
