EA's Sims executive producer promises more on The Sims 3, MySims, SimAnimals, and SimCreator...


With the evolution of Spore finally approaching its gestation, it seems Sims fans won't have too long to wait before discovering more on The Sims 3.

In a post to Quarter To Three forums, EA's Sims Executive Producer Rod Humble states, "For Sims 3 there will be new information soon."

Unfortunately that's about it for now, although Humble does again mention the previously announced MySims Kingdom and MySims Party as continuations of the brand's successful debut last year on Wii.

Further still there's the promise that further details on SimAnimals will follow shortly, a mention of SimCreator, and the promise of plenty of new things along the way... seems there's plenty in store for those with too many Simoleons burning holes in their pocket.

hey i can buy any game i want with only 5$i got the sims2 expansion packs full with 5$and they worked all!please any1 knows sims3 pc requirments i have hp pavilion dv2700 laptop its 4 gb ram and nvidiageforce 8400m gs and 2.5 ghzz will it work //??

I hate it how EA tells you its comming in 2009 due to you have to wait a long time, well to me 2009 too far away. EA could have at least told us about the Sims 3 closer to release date saving everyone having to wait.

I wouldn't take the release date seriously. No one knows the actual date yet; all Maxis has released is early 2009.

It'll probably cost around $40.00. I believe that's what both Sims 1 & 2 cost when the base games were released.

I've kind of researched The sims 3 to see what others are saying, and I've read you change the weight, height, arm size, and such. Therefore, they can have a really skinny body and fat arms.

The Sims 3 is supposed to run much more smoothly on older computers, so it will be compatible with newer forms such as Vista and XP as well.
