We’ll admit that things are getting a bit confusing on the Lord of the Rings front, firstly EA announce that they’ve secured the rights to movie adaptations and the Universal-Vivendi tie up the rights to adaptations from the novels. <br /> <br /> Next we learn that EA’s offering will be based on the second film The Two Towers, promising an action-based title for the Playstation2 and GameBoy Advance. Vivendi-Universal’s offering takes a more traditional RPG/adventure stance being based upon the first novel The Fellowship, and will be released on Xbox and GameBoy Advance, whilst an adaptation of The Hobbit will arrive on the GameCube. <br /> <br /> Then Universal-Vivendi announce that The Fellowship will be arriving on the Playstation2, however from the first screens we’ve received today it appears to be a different game from that appearing on the Xbox…. <br /> <br /> If someone can understand this better then us, please let us know, for the rest take a look at the first screens from the PS2 version of The Fellowship… <br />
