Eidos release the first screens from the PS2 adaptation of the forthcoming remake.
Eidos today released the first ever screens from the multi-format adaptation of the forthcoming Paramount Pictures feature film, The Italian Job. Currently in development at Climax Brighton Studios, the game places players in the role of Charlie Croker as he attempts to steal $28million in gold bullion from under the nose of the man who betrayed you.
Essentially this boils down to a mission-based driving title, featuring 15 different missions each based on the filmâs plot as you take in locations such as the Hollywood Hills, Downtown LA, and the cityâs metro and storm drain system.
Youâll be able to drive a variety of different vehicles throughout the game, however most notably the new Mini Cooper (is it still new?) all of which have realistic damage models and car handling. Climax is promising a rock-steady 60FPS throughout the game on all three versions.
