The Getaway: Black Monday Amendment News

Apologies, we got something absolutely wrong in our recent look at The Getaway: Black Monday...

Marc Canham from Nimrod Productions today contacted TVG regarding our recent look at The Getaway: Black Monday; as it stands we got something blatantly wrong in our review that weād like to amend.

No sadly the game is still quite frankly mediocre, however we thought it was only right to bring you confirmation that the gameās strongest aspect, itās soundtrack was created by Marc at Nimrod and not Ninja Tunes as we pointed out in our review.

Marc and the team spent the best part of 12 months creating an original score for the game, which took influences from classic London gangster flicks such as The Long Good Friday. Ninja Tunes then ādissectedā the orchestral score and remixed the tunes for use in the game, although music from the cut-scenes remains unchanged from the original Nimrod recordings.

In addition, Nimrod have also confirmed a further collaboration with Sony, with both X Ray Sun and Warren Suicide set to feature in the forthcoming soundtrack for Gran Turismo 4.

Weāll have more from Nimrod soon.
