Five new screens and some new info FROM one of the most cinematic and ambitious games ever created...
In development at Team Soho for the last four years, The Getaway started life out as a PSOne title. Development was quickly changed to the Playstation2, and promises to offer one of the most cinematic and immersive experiences ever seen.
The game plays similarly to Grand Theft Auto 3, yet offers dialogue and scripting akin to a classic English gangster flick, think of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels for the kind of game to expect. Two characters will be playable, one an ex-crook looking to stay on the straight line and another a respectable police officer, both on different sides of the law, both brought together through the sinister storyline.
Weâll be having a lot more on The Getaway soon before its release in time for Christmas, until then check out these latest screens to come from development on the title.
