The first images from this game based on the film that has inspired countless boy racers...
We prefer the film 'Taxi', but that's just us. This game is being developed by Genki, who are well suited to Fast and the Furious, as they are the people responsible for Tokyo Extreme Racer, which actually did illegal street racing before the film. Art imitating art imitating life or something...
These screens are looking alright, but nothing special, hopefully the effect is better in motion and in the capturing of the feel of the movie. From here it seems that EA's Need For Speed Underground is faster and more furious than the game that bears the name of the film.
The Fast and the Furious will be released by the end of the year on PlayStation2, and early 2004 on Xbox where it will be supporting Live!
