Konami release the first screens from the GameCube version of the subliminal footie game.
Konami today released the first screens from the GameCube version of the sublime Winning Eleven 6, showing a slight improvement upon the PS2 version with (shock horror) half-decent looking crowds and Beckhamsā newest haircut.
Unfortunately itās looking unlikely that the GameCube version will be released in Europe as a Konami spokesperson today denied that the GameCube version would be released over here.
However itās good news, because it suggests that the next game in the highly acclaimed series will be available on more formats then the PS2, which is claimed to feature full online support; fans may remember that at the same time of announcing the GameCube version, Konami announced a new PS2 version, which allows you to go online and download updated team information and player data.
