Fable II Sets The UK Charts Alight News
More on this gameThe months leading up to Lionhead's Fable 2 have been strangely quiet, conspicuous in the absence of headline grabbing quotes from Lionhead's studio head Peter Molyneux.
However after a recent Fable 2 event the floodgates have been prised well and truly open, as TVG brings a closer look at the opening sections of the game along with an interview with the slightly more reserved man himself.
Within the interview Molyneux speaks about a range of topics, including his reasons behind taking a backseat this time around, suggesting, "... not even a cross between the Kama Sutra and the Bible and the complete works of Shakespeare could have met their expectations," in regards to the original Fable before adding, "but hopefully Fable II is going to exceed expectations."
Molyneux also reveals more about the expansion of the good/evil dynamic that characterised the original, suggesting things aren't so black and white this time around:
"We very rarely talk of it as good and evil - it's not. There's good and evil; cruelty and kindness; a lot about greed and generosity; about sacrifice; about purity and corruption."

It will be emergent episodic gameplay - that's why Fable 2 doesn't end when you finish it. Lionhead will keep on developing Fable 2, so that means they don't have to get straight on with Fable 3 and can continue working on their next new IP.
