Atari today sent us the first selection of screens from the forthcoming Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, currently in development at Monster Games for the Playstation2 and Xbox.

As you can see from the screens, Eve of Destruction promises severely madcap action, as you take control of various unorthodox vehicles such as School Buses and Hearses.

The game promises over 25 different events, ranging from Demo Derby where the last car standing wins to Trailer Race in which players have to complete a race whilst towing a trailer.

Test Drive: Eve of Destruction is scheduled for release in the autumn; we’ll have more information soon.
