According to reports from Japan, the fighting franchise may be getting an HD face-lift and a digital release on PS3...


Having launched on PSP earlier in the year, Japanese publication Famitsu is today reporting that Tekken: Dark Resurrection may be released on PlayStation3 in the future too.

According to the article, developers Namco Bandai are working on upgrading the visuals to Sony's so-called "Full HD", with the end product being exclusively released on the next-gen console via PlayStation Store.

Further confirmation of the 'port' is yet to be made, but it comes just days after Polyphony Digital announced plans to release Gran Turismo HD Concept over the digital distribution system.
