Namco Bandai confirms the expansion of the RPG series onto PSP for the first time...
At a somewhat busy Editor's Day across the pond, Namco Bandai Games of America has announced July release date for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology for PSP. The launch will mark the first time that the series will make an appearance on North American PSPs, with a port of 2001's Tales of Eternia already arriving in both Europe and Australia back in 2006.
Radiant Mythology follows players as they try to save The World Tree and the land of Terresia, which are under attack from a being known as The Devourer. The franchise's Free Run Linear Motion Battle System will also feature in the game, together with over a dozen characters from across the "Tales of..." universe.
Radiant Mythology was first released in Japan back in December 2006 and is the first instalment in the "Tales of the World" spin-off franchise since 2005's Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3 on GameBoy Advance, which launched exclusively in its home country. Namco Bandai are yet to unveil a European release period for the title.
