Having announced a larger then expected profit for the financial quarter ended in July, Take-Two today raised its expectations and announced that it would buy TDK Mediactive.

Take-Two posted a net profit for the third financial quarter of $7.7million, compared with a year-earlier profit of $4.8million.

Take-Two announced that it would pay cash and stock worth $22.7million for the acquisition of TDK Mediactive, which holds licenses such as ‘Shrek’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
