Take-Two/Tecmo Announce Tokobots News

Tecmo's first PSP title to be published by Take-Two in March 2006...
The PSP has been found wanting in recent months thanks to an endless tirade of PlayStation2 ports released on the format. Originality is definitely one thing found lacking in the platform's software line up at the moment, though announcements like the one from Take-Two and Tecmo today certainly help.
Today in a joint statement, Take-Two and Tecmo has announced the development of Tokobots, an adventure game for the PSP, which has been scheduled for a March 2006 release. In the game players follow the story of Bolt, who tries to stop treasure hunters from taking over the world using the power of Tokobots, ancient robots with the power to combine and transform into a series of helpful objects including ladders, cranes, and even samurai warriors.
"Tokobot is a fantastic first title for the PSP from Tecmo," said James Ellingford, International Managing Director of Take-Two Interactive Software. "We're delighted to continue our work with Tecmo and are confident Tokobot will find favour with the PSP's already impressive install base."
