First screens and details of the impending Xbox version ot the excellent PS2 racer...
Codemasters today revealed the first screens from the Xbox conversion of the excellent PS2 racer, TOCA Race Driver. The Xbox version benefits from a number of visual improvements, including greater draw distances, increased texture resolution, greater colour depth and detail and more complex particle systems.
Along with the PC version, the game increases the competitor count by putting 20 cars on the track, up from the 14 featured in the Playstation2 original.
Listening to our few criticisms of the original, Codemasters have included qualifying rounds, which hopefully will be used to progress the storyline running throughout the game.
