More on this gameAssassin's Creed PC will be released five months after the console versions, but at least Ubisoft has spent the time productively. Four all-new investigation types have been included, which will apparently help to curb the repetitive gameplay of last November's releases:
"We included 4 new investigation missions to increase the variety so in total, we now have a total of 9 investigation missions. Also, you can now skip from one city to another without going through the kingdom once you visited every city," commented the game's Technical Lead, Charles Beauchemin.
Archer Assassination requires players to take out archers while remaining unseen; Rooftop Race Challenge has players racing to get from one point to another in a designated time; Merchant Stand Destruction sets Altair the task of stopping merchants who're aiding a target and, finally, Escort Challenge sees players escorting a fellow assassin from one place to another.
Well, it certainly beats cruising around the Holy Land trying to find flags, but whether or not it will cure the console version's monotonous gameplay is yet to be seen.
AI has also been tweaked in a couple of areas: blending into the crowd next to the dead body you've just assassinated no longer works, while guards' reactions to stealth assassinations now depend on how many NPCs are around you at the time.
Assassin's Creed PC will be compatible with Microsoft's Xbox 360 controller and the game will also be DX9 and DX10 compatible.

The graphics quality is mind blowing. Something I found during the game is that it's very easy to play and lots of fun. I will be playing this game for the next 10 years.

The game is given a realistic vibe, with pick-pocketing, interrogations and saving innocent civilians. One hard to understand concept is the story line, which chops and changes between 21st century times and the time of the game - probably 200 AD. The graphics quality is great and the "parkour" ability of the "arab" is quite fun in itself, 4 stars

lamo investigations are the most boring parts of the game. the probably gave us these new "implementations" that are lackluster to say the least just so the console babies wouldn't cry. if they had pc gamer's interest in mind, they'd include new cities or outposts, new fighting moves, new enemy types(haven't seen an pikemen, man of wars, peasant soldiers, conscripts, etc.

What a shame that they didn't figure that all out during Beta testing. In the end, the consoles get the shaft. Nice.
