Months after acquiring the brand from Atari, THQ reveals Stuntman sequel for summer 2007...


THQ made no secret that Paradigm Entertainment was working on Stuntman2 when they acquired the developer and Stuntman brand from Atari in 2006, but today, the publisher formally unveiled the title: Stuntman Ignition.

Pencilled in for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PlayStation2 during the summer, Stuntman Ignition will include over 25 vehicles for players to use in stunts for movie shoots, commercials, and tournaments. The game will also feature online multiplayer modes, allowing gamers to challenge other players in a test of skill.

"Stuntman: Ignition will provide hours of addictive, edge-of-your-seat driving for action and racing fans alike," said Bob Aniello, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, THQ. "The game brings a unique approach to the genre, encouraging gamers to perfect their racing technique while creating their own personalized Hollywood stuntman experience."

"Stuntman: Ignition delivers an addictive blend of death-defying stunts and precision-based driving unlike anything seen before," said Dave Gatchel, General Manager, Paradigm Studios. "With an action-packed career mode and intense online multiplayer, gamers will have plenty to prove to become Hollywood's next big stuntman."

peaple that say this games sucks because its easy are a buncha f-ing dumb a-holes, sure any idiot(like the ones above)can say its easy if all their trying to accomplish is get from one scene to another, but the main point here is to get 5 stars in ea... [ Read full comment... ]

I would say 9/10, however if they had an update that made the track arena not have those damn buildings in the middle, and make the damage in the arena as good as the original, then a 10/10 would be in order. :-)

FIRST GAME WAS GREAT, THIS WAS TOO EASY AND THE CARS HANDLING IS RUBBISH AND THERE IS NO SENSE OF SPEED. IF YOU LIKED THE FIRST ONE DON'T BUY THIS.

For some reason the physics in the arena area lot worse than the original...and you can't damage the car either. i.e. the wheels don't come off and you can't completely total it. I'd liked to have had more destruction buthey, it's still damn fun!!!

i played the demo and it was awsome and the demo is just the tip of the ice burg. If u liked the first game you will lap this up.

Why can a game never be hard and not get knocked? Some people like games being hard. That way when you accomplish something, you ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING. Stuntman 1 was a very good game. I still have to see if the 'dumbing down' hurts or helps ... [ Read full comment... ]
