THQ and Nickelodeon team up for a sequel to the popular Tak and the Power of JuJu…

THQ today announced the development of Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, for Playstation2, Xbox, GameCube and GameBoy Advance.

Scheduled for release in October, the sequel will once again see players assuming the role of the titular Tak, as he attempts to put an end to the evil shaman Tlaloc, once and for all. In doing so, players must embark on a quest to recover the Nightmare Sceptre, whilst learning a host of new abilities along the way.

Other new additions include three brand new JuJu Gods, nine new nightmare creatures and the introduction of JB â“ Jibolbaâs brother.

Weâll have more information soon.
