TGS'05 - Q Entertainment Announce Every Extend Extra News

From the man who gave us REZ, Lumines and Meteos comes a new music-shooter for the PSP...
We love Tetsuya Mizuguchi, quite honestly we only need to see his name attached to something in order to be hooked, ever since laying eyes upon a game called REZ tucked away on a decrepit TV hidden away on a bustling SEGA stand at E3.
Having given something special to PSP and DS owners in the form of Lumines and Meteos, Mizuguchi-san and Q Entertainment today confirmed the catchy titled Every Extend Extra for the PSP.
Every Extend Extra is rather predictably another (but certainly welcome) music-shooter similar to REZ, placing the emphasis on synergy between visuals and sound, but featuring one notable difference. Instead of shooting at opponents the playerās avatar must avoid a bombardment of fire as long as possible! Thereās a lot more to it weāre sure, such as chain attacks and such, but our headās hurt from watching the trailer too much. REZ featured some of the most imaginative boss encounters from the last ten years, thankfully this look likely to continue into Every Extend Extra.
Every Extend Extra is scheduled for release in Japan during January 2006; no word on a European date, but given both Lumines and Meteos have found their way over here weād assume itās just a case of whom not when.
