In addition to new stages, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will offer a new Challenge mode, integrating varying skill settings (Beginner, Advanced, and Expert) into one fluid ramp up, rather than breaking them out as independent gameplay sections. There will also be additional stages in the story mode. All twelve of the party games from Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 are also to be included.

Toshiro Nagoshi confirms a new Super Monkey Ball title is in development; format still uncertain…


Rumours of a Super Monkey Ball title for the Playstation2 have been surfacing for longer then we care to remember, with many suggesting an official announcement at E3.

Whilst that never actually materialised, Toshiro Nagoshi recently confirmed that his team are currently working on a new title in the series, believed to be a compendium of the previous two titles with a host of enhancements and extras.

We expect official confirmation from SEGA soon; as always stick with TVG for the latest updates on this title.
