In a recent interview with a Japanese gaming publication, Shigeru Miyamoto commented on the GameCube and the state of Mario Sunshine and Zelda. <br /> <br /> Speaking about the GameCube, Miyamoto hinted that Nintendo are looking to extend the length of the average consoles five year lifespan, to around eight years. <br /> <br /> He went on to talk about both titles and stated that both will be playable at this years E3, whilst also saying a new secret title will be shown at this years show. <br /> <br /> Speculation is rife as to what this title may be, in a previous interview Miyamoto stated that work is progressing on 100 Mario`s nicely, which was previously thought to be the tech demo that was shown when the GameCube was first unveiled. It`s currently unknown whether this is indeed a new title, or the result of mis-translation from the original transcript. <br /> <br /> It looks like the only way we`ll find out is to wait until May, when E3 2002 starts.
