US reports emerge that suggest the creator of Killer 7 and No More Heroes is to guild the next Fatal Frame for Tecmo...

Classically Japanese in its style and presentation of horror, the Fatal Frame (Project Zero) franchise has already sent shivers down the spines of gamers on Xbox and PlayStation 2 - and if reports from the US are accurate, it could be appearing on Wii next.

According to reports on US-based 1UP, whispers of Fatal Frame on Wii emerged at last week's Tokyo Game Show, with publisher Tecmo apparently eager for the next instalment in the series.

Perhaps more interesting is the identity of the development studio the publisher has in mind: Grasshopper Manufacture, the team behind Killer 7 and the upcoming No More Heroes, headed by Suda51.

Further details, including confirmation from Tecmo, are yet to be announced by the publisher, but hopefully we can still look forward to taking the flashlight and Camera Obscura onto Wii sometime in the future.
