When the former founder of Bungie went on to form a new venture entitled Wideload Games and confirmed that their first title would be based around the Halo engine, the expectation certainly mounted.

However little did we expect that the title would be as far removed from the epic Sci-Fi shooter as possible. As we previously revealed last week, Stubbs the Zombie in “Rebel without a Pulse” is an action/adventure that promises new ideas and a humorous experience with tongue firmly rooted in cheek.

Today we received the first selection of screens from the title, and as you can see this certainly promises to be a title for fans of Zombie and B-Movies alike. Utilising an enhanced Halo engine, players make use of severed hands and detachable heads to enslave the human race and change them into Zombies.

Stubbs the Zombie in “Rebel without a Pulse” is scheduled for release in 2005; we’ll have more information soon.
