With the demise of VIS and subsequent lack of information on State of Emergency 2 many had thought this was one sequel left dead in the water. However the silence has today been broken as Playlogic released the first screens and information in absolutely ages.

Taking place ten years after the original State of Emergency, Spanky, Bull and MacNeill once again return to fight the Corporation. Naturally there’s plenty of weapons and DIY alternatives, however this time around the gang can also get their hands on helicopters, speedboats, tanks and APCs.

The sequel promises to build upon the somewhat shallow experience of its predecessor with a full-story based single-player mode, splitscreen multiplayer and a variety of challenge variations.
