Star Wars RTS Map Editor Available News

LucasArts confirms that the latest update to Empire at War includes a Map Editor...
LucasArts and Petroglyph have today announced the release of update 1.04 for the Star Wars RTS, Empire at War. The update, which features a Map Editor, also fixes certain issues with the game such as a problem with invisible Capital Ships during combat.
The Map Editor will allow players to create their own skirmish space and ground-based maps, as well as edit currently available maps from the game. Additionally, gamers will also have access to a plug-in for the application 3D Studio Max that'll allow them to design new units and import them into the game.
The update is currently available at the LucasArts support site.
