Those who pre-order Rogue Squadron III are in for a treat...
LucasArts today announced details on a special bonus-disc to be given to those that pre-order Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike in the US. The bonus-disc will contain a playable demo of the games Hoth mission and a trailer for Gladius and Rebel Strike.
However far more interesting is the news that the disc will also contain a port of the 1982 vector-based Star Wars arcade game â“ certainly gamers in their twenties will have fond memories of chucking in the coins and listening to Darth Vaders sampled voice as youâre flying through the trenches of the Death Star.
Unfortunately this looks likely to only appear in the US with a similar European system looking unlikely.
