Square-Enix President confirms the importance of not becoming too loyal to one format...
Speaking to Mainichi Interactive Square-Enix President Yoichi Wada had today increased speculation that the likes of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest could find themselves on multiple next-generation formats.
Wada-san cited the need to expand market share while justifying increased development costs as the reason behind the claim, which is likely to have huge ramifications on the Japanese industry given the importance of such franchises for the Playstation in recent years.
So Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox360 may not just be the stopgap that many were predicting during E3; weâll have further information soon.
