Few surprises in store from the Japanese RPG giant…


Square-Enix today confirmed its E3 line-up, claiming to reveal âsome new and interesting directionsâ for the Japanese publisher.

Naturally the line-up is headed by Final Fantasy XII, marking its first major public appearance, whilst our attention is targeted towards the latest build of Kingdom Hearts II and the series first appearance on the GBA in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

In addition Square-Enix will use the event to showcase Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, marking the first appearance outside of Japan and including all of the extras found within the Directors Cut released later in Japan; whilst FullMetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel will also make an appearance.

Unless Square-Enix is holding on to a number of titles, the list pours doubt upon the recent rumours of a new Final Fantasy title for the GameCube or GameBoy Advance; weâll have more information soon.
