Splinter Cell Confusion Cleared Up! News

It seems that certain publications have been confused over the state of Splinter Cell exclusivity to the Xbox, read on as TVG clears up the situation.
It seems certain US publications have caused some confusion over the Splinter Cell exclusivity agreement with Microsoft. As TVG exclusively revealed during E3, Microsoft signed the title up for nine-month exclusive period. However weâve seen the Playstation2 version in action, and whilst Ubi Soft refuse to confirm a GameCube version, we know that Ubisoft Montreal are working on it, as lead developer Gregoire Gobbi recently confirmed to us.
The next format to receive the Splinter Cell treatment will be the PC version scheduled for release in February 2003, followed by Gamecube and Playstation2 versions in the summer, when we expect the first information on Splinter Cell 2 to emerge.
