It’s been awhile since we last heard anything from SEGA’s Xbox Live! brawler, ‘SpikeOut Xtreme’. So it comes with some relief that the latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that the game is still under development at Amusement Vision, but unfortunately revealed precious else in terms of details.<br><br>The ‘SpikeOut’ series originally debuted in the arcades as a networked 3D beat-em-up along similar lines to such classics as ‘Streets of Rage’ and ‘Final Fight’. The series saw a number of different versions, each offering new stages, characters and gameplay enhancements.<br><br>It’s highly likely that if Amusement Vision gets this out then it could provide a lot of entertainment for Xbox Live! users; we’re just slightly concerned that it’s taking this long to port a relatively old title, let’s just hope they’re making the experience as good as possible.<br><br>We’ll have more on ‘Spikeout Xtreme’ soon.<br>
