Spider-Man: The Movie News

By Mark Simons on 01/01/1970 Take a look at some images of the first outing for the spidery dude on the PlayStation2.

Spider-Man on the PlayStation and Dreamcast was a great platformer based around the Tony Hawk game engine. Treyarch are developing Spider-Man The Movie, previously they worked on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and Spider-Man for the Dreamcast as well as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x on Xbox.

Set to ship in May 2002 to coincide with the release of the film Spider-Man the movie is headed to PlayStation2, Xbox, GameCube and GameBoy Advance. So far things are looking impressive and if the gameplay builds and enhances the foundations layer by the first Spider-Man game then this could be excellent. We do not know what additional gameplay features Spider-Man The Movie will have, but for the meantime take a look at these screens and imagine swinging wall to wall with that lovely sticky web stuff.
