Spector Addresses Deus Ex Criticism News

Warren Spector makes a comment on the fears raised after the release of the official demo…

It appears that the recently released demo of âDeus Ex: Invisible Warâ has caused widespread discontent amongst the Deus Ex community.

Speaking on the Official Deus Ex Forums, Warren Spector addressed a number of issues that have risen from the community, in particular dealing with concerns that the game has been âdumbedâ down to suit a console market in comparison to the epoch-making original.

Itâs an interesting read and one that we certainly recommend if youâre a Deus Ex fan; rest assured it looks as though the team at Ion Storm have taken on-board the criticism and are working on these with the first official patch.

âDeus Ex: Invisible Warâ is slated for a European release in Q1 2004; weâll have more soon.
