Things On Wheels is an arcade racing title placing players at the helm of RC vehicles as they compete on tracks set within a gigantic house. Moving from room to room within an expansive virtual house, courses are constructed from routes that incorporate everyday items as hazards and obstacles. With huge scope for a variety of entertaining courses, developers Load Inc. are promising to infuse Things On Wheels with as much RC racing mayhem as possible.

SouthPeak To Race Things On Wheels News

Publisher recruits Mad Tracks developer to bring a Radio Controlled racer to Xbox Live Arcade...

SouthPeak Games has today confirmed the development of an original Xbox Live Arcade game, which is so far set to arrive on Marketplace during the summer. In development at Mad Tracks studio Load Inc and featuring Radio Controlled cars, Things on Wheels takes players on a tour around a house with plenty of household objects acting as barriers and obstacles.

"We've been looking to move into Xbox LIVE Arcade titles and Load Inc. wanted to do something brand new with the racing genre. This really appealed to us," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. "Competing with real life remote control cars is great fun, so why not do it in a videogame? Things on Wheels will deliver the same reckless thrill and as such, is a perfect candidate for us to announce as our first Xbox LIVE Arcade game."

For now Things on Wheels sounds like Micro Machines using slightly larger vehicles - though the promise of a non-linear design at least makes it sounds like there'll be plenty of ways to win the RC racer come the summer.
