Joint venture to create content for CELL powered platforms...


In an attempt to leverage support for the CELL processor and elevate it as more then just the PS3 CPU, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. and Namco-Bandai Holdings today confirmed the establishment of a joint development studio specialising in creating content for CELL powered devices.

Commencing operations on March 6th, Namco-Bandai will own a 51% stake in Cellius Inc., whilst Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. will hold the rest. The studio will develop content for the PlayStation3, mobile phones and computers powered by the CELL processor, in the hope of recouping some of the 200 billion yen spent developing the technology alongside IBM and Toshiba.

Why do people say its ffVII sequel!!! If you read the initial story it says it has nothing to do with ffV11 and its not an RPG!! Chances are there is no big announcement and it was a big joke!!

i think it will be exclusive and iv heard about a new metal gear called Metal Gear 3: Revolver Ocelot and this was in the rumour section of the official uk ps3 magazine it also said if its true expect it also to be announce in the next month ... [ Read full comment... ]

It's Final Fantasy VII sequel. That date is the same time as scheduled Square Enix DKS3713 August 2nd/3rd.
