Sony Japan To Repair PSPs Free Of Charge News

Sony announce that they are to repair ‘sticky’ PSP buttons free of charge...

At the end of last month we reported on how a number of PSPs had been sent back to Sony by Japanese owners of the system after a outbreak of âstickyâ buttons. In response to the incidents, Sony Japan has announced that it is to repair the units free of charge.

With the system set for release in North America, Korea, and Europe over the next few months Sony are yet to reveal whether any changes have been made to the unit to prevent similar faults occurring in the new territories, although judging from Ken Kutaragiâs outburst in January it seems unlikely.

UMD already dead. Sony has nothing to lose by adding
SD stuff on the Blu-ray discs for PSP viewing.

good point but i think i would only pay about $250 and not bother with the touch screen.with mobile tec in there you could play games over the net any time any where but only at a reasonable price of course.

Sony should have added a 40 or 80 gig internal hard drive like the ipod to the psp instead of making it thinner and lighter! With the extra space it would be

JAZZ-1991, what the hell are you talking about? The PSP redesign is 19% slimmer and 33% lighter than the original PSP. The buttons are more responsive, it supports tv out, has twice the RAM. There is no need to make it any smaller, it feels great in ... [ Read full comment... ]
