Sony Announces Sly 3...Slyly News

The furry band of thieves is set to return this Autumn and promises to offer extensive replayability...

Sony has today announced that super-thief Sly Cooper is set to return to PlayStation2 this Autumn is brand new adventure called âSly 3: Honor Among Thieves.â Set after the events of Sly 2, this latest title starts with the team in total disarray with Bently crippled after the encounter against Clockwork and Murray departing the group. After learning that a fortress housing the wealth of the Coopers is set to be raided by an opposing group, Sly and the gang reform with some new faces and prepare for the ultimate smash ânâ grab.

Honor Among Thieves is set to include a multiplayer modes including head-to-head, co-op and mini-game options, whilst replayability of the single-player game will be provided by the ability to time travel and redo completed levels in different disguises to achieve a higher grade of Master Thief.

Confirming the Autumn release Grady Hunt, Senior Producer, Product Development, Sony Computer Entertainment America, said "In Sly 2: Band of Thieves, the team took significant design risks and the end result was an amazing, versatile game which we've significantly built upon and extended in Sly 3: Honor Among Thievesâ¦We've added a breadth of new features and replay value into the game, and brought back aspects that made the previous Sly Cooper episodes huge hits. In the end, we will deliver an innovative, yet true classic platform gameplay experience sure to satisfy PlayStation 2 fans of all ages."

i think there is a Sly 4 because Bently is going to build a time machine . who know's what bently will see in the future . Maybe sly and the team will become a band of thieves again.
