Sony announce a new PS2 title and its starring Jet Li as the main character...
During their recent American press event, SCEA unveiled a new Playstation2 title going by the tentative name of Rise to Honor.
Currently in development at Foster City Studios, the game is an action title that will star Jet Li (Lethal Weapon 4, Kiss of the Dragon, Romeo Must Die), who has provided motion-capture data and his likeness for use in the game.
The game will strive to mix arcade action and the cinematic nature of Hong Kong action films; Corey Yuen who has choreographed many of Jet Liās movies will direct the fights.
Li will be cast in the role of Kit Yun, the bodyguard of a Hong Kong gangster named Boss Chiang. Chiang is assassinated in the games introduction, and so Yun is asked to find his daughter in America and return her to Hong Kong.
Rise of Honor is scheduled for a Fall 20003 release, weāll have a lot more on this title in the near future, until then make sure to check out the first screens.
