Konami confirms Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops + at PlayStation Premiere 2007...


Having continued the story of Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Konami has today confirmed the development of a follow up, this time seemingly set around a similar timeframe to upcoming PlayStation3 title, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Unveiled for PSP at PlayStation Premiere 2007 in Japan, Portable Ops + will this time around focus on online gameplay, and feature a range of new characters including 'Old' Snake and Raiden...though Naked 'Big Boss' Snake remains part of the game.

Nailed down for release in Japan towards the end of September, don't expect Portable Ops + to come our way anytime soon.
