Slitherine Studios announce a new expansion pack to Spartan…
Slitherine Studios today confirmed to TVG the development of a new expansion pack for the excellent Spartan. Timed to fit in with the current buzz surrounding a certain movie starring Brad Pitt and Eric Bana, Gates of Troy includes a variety of new features and extras chronicling the Trojan Wars to restore Helen to Menelaus.
The pack includes 17 new heroes ranging from Achilles and Hektor to Leonidas and Demophilus to take control of, as you command vast armies of Trojans and Greeks to lay siege to the most powerful City of its time.
Six new historically accurate campaigns are featured in the expansion pack, including:
- The Trojan Wars
- The Pass of Thermopylae
- Greek Colonization
- Pre-Historic Greece
- The Lonian Revolt
- Grand Campaign with Rome & Persia
Gates of Troy also includes 12 new units ranging from Achilles Myrmidons to Thespian & Theban Hoplites. It also includes a number of new features such as a zoomable campaign map, enhanced diplomatic options such as the vassalization of smaller nations, the chance to build the Trojan horse and many smaller upgrades.
