Slim & Lite PS3 Later In The Year ??? News

Gadget website alludes to a sugar-free PS3 arriving later in the year...
Gadget website T3 has today made the first claim that a 'Slim and Lite' PlayStation3 will be making an appearance later in the year.
Based upon murmurings from an unnamed insider at CES last month, T3 speculates that the remodelled PS3 will offer the full functionality of the current models, but could also feature the heavily rumoured 120/160GB harddrive.
Pictures posted on the T3 website demonstrate the possible model, noticeably featuring a heavily expanded air vent section presumably to cool the hot temperatures the current PS3 reaches - not that overheating has ever really been a problem for the PS3.
As T3 correctly points out, Sony has a history of condensing its formats, so the news isn't entirely out of the spectrum of plausibility; however, we'd advise waiting for an official announcement from Sony before saving up those pennies just of yet.
