SCEJ confirm a sequel to their chilling Playstation2 survivial/horror…

We mentioned the possibility earlier in the month, as confirmation has finally arrived that SCEJ are currently working on a sequel to the unique Playstation2 survival/horror title, Siren.

Siren 2 is set in 2005 across a mysterious island, whose previous inhabitants left the location 29 years previously. The island features several shattered cities; whilst weâre informed that the environment will include a multi-storey car park that provides a viewpoint of the whole island, in addition to a fair and a strange ship-wreck.

Whilst specific details are a little sketchy weâre led to believe that Siren 2 wonât feature a stream of red water as in the prequel, but a mysterious red light instead.

In an interesting twist the main character will have a dog by his side, allowing players to take control and view from his perspective by using the innovative SightJack feature.

So America and Canada are getting Siren 2?? I have heard that we were out of luck. If this is true I am so excited. Except for the fact that it is now October, and no Siren 2. I guess I will just wait and see...
