Reports from the latest issue of Famtisu allegedly reveal a new PS2 title from the creator of Resident Evil...
Best known for creating the Resident Evil franchise along with the dubious decision to partner exclusively with Nintendo in 2001 (a decision that was later rebuked by Capcom executives and led to him stepping down as manager of Capcom's Production Studio 4), it's been unclear exactly what Shinji Mikami has been up to since development concluded on Resident Evil 4.
The latest issue of Famitsu has however provided a clue suggesting that Mikami-san is currently working on a title named God Hand for the Playstation2, with the assistance of Viewtiful Joe's Atsushi Inaba.
Precise details on the title are currently unapparent, so hopefully we'll have confirmation and clarification on the title soon - rumours of it being about the life and times of Argentina's Diego Maradona are currently unsubstantiated.
