Set in a completely new fictitious city Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 recreates an authentic Japanese school setting right down to the relationships that the player can make and break throughout an entire school year. During the day players get to experience high school life whilst also getting the chance to enhance their character's abilities with the choices they make throughout the school day.

KOEI confirms a late February release for Atlus' latest instalment in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise...

Already available in Japan and the United States (for over eighteen months in the case of Japan), KOEI has today confirmed that Europe will finally get to play Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 from February 29th.

Despite being the third instalment in the Persona spin-off series, the game apparently requires no previous knowledge of back-story, and is set in a Japanese high school. Sounding like an anime version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Persona 3 takes players on a story of 'pupils by day, devil killers by night', and will mark the first time that the sub-franchise has appeared across Europe.

Naoki Katashima, Executive Vice President of KOEI Europe and KOEI US, said, "Persona 3 is one of the most highly regarded RPGs of recent times and we are delighted to be able to bring this renowned title to European gamers. We look forward to continuing to work with Atlus to bring the very best Japanese RPGs to Europe."
