Take a first look at this new PlayStation2 adventure game FROM 3DO
Shifters is a third person adventure game from 3DO, surprisingly absent of little plastic soldiers, and it is set to be released this November on PlayStation2. The game, as hinted at in its title, features shape shifting elements whereby your character can morph into others. Specifics of this feature were not elaborated on, but it sounds not entirely dissimilar to the system in Kameo from Rare on GameCube.
You can shift into 24 characters within the game so this should give you a wide range of abilities to become familiar with. Spread over 30 levels the game should offer you a wide range of challenges to overcome. Quite what the story will be is unknown, although good and evil are both going to play a part, the intonation being that you will be able to decide your own destiny.
