Shenmue 3 Not Confirmed!!! News

Unfortunately folks it appears that last nights reports were merely fanboy optimism...

Reports sprung up overnight have suggested that Sega has confirmed the existence of Shenmue 3, but unfortunately this appears to be nothing more then optimistic thinking at present.

The rumours apparently stem from yesterdays re-launch of the Shenmue website, and claim that further announcements would be made in September. Whilst TVG has recently received its invitation to X03 in September, suggesting a key Xbox announcement; it should also be noted that confusion might have occurred from a news announcement stating that the server would be changed in September.

As it stands neither Sega nor AM2 have officially confirmed Shenmue 3, however the signs are beginning to look positive â“ letâs just hope Sega doesnât disappoint us.

i can relate to everyone here as ive completed both senarios and would love to see a third story of shenmue 3 coming out as its the best rpg game in the world that i have ever played.

good news im wont sue sega shenmue3 will be out on 31/03/09 on xbox360 only and will come with high def remakes of shenmue 1+2 now for sigh of relief

It really makes me happy that gamers from all around the world are still hoping for Shenmue3. I am one of them, but since the deplorable state SEGA is currently in I fear that it will never be made. :(
