Croteam`s chief confirms Sam`s appearance on Microsoft`s Xbox...
It had to happen sooner or later, Sam was just itching to make his mark on the consoles, and that moved a step closer today.
Croteam chief Roman Ribaric, seemingly confirmed that both PC adventures will be released as one title for the Xbox in the near future.
``We are finishing the work on the Serious Engine to fit the Xbox console and then we'll move from there``, said Ribaric this morning. ``So far, we've made the initial design outline. Basically, we plan to make a new game by combining the story and levels for Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter into one big Xbox game. We still need to have final talks with our publisher [Take-Two], but I don't expect a problem here. There's a big demand for the game to be switched to consoles, but we also decided to spice the things up with creating one big game out of two.``
