Atelier Iris 2 offers two different worlds to explore, where the actions in one can have a massive effect on the other. Players take on the roles of two orphans in a desperate struggle to save their land, Eden from destruction. In order to save Eden though, one of them needs to travel to the world of Belkhyde to uncover the reasons behind the fate of their land, while the other must stay behind on Eden to try to delay its impending doom.

The Azoth of Destiny to be published in the UK this Autumn by Koei...

Koei has today confirmed that Atelier Iris: The Azoth of Destiny, is to be published in September 2006 on PlayStation2 in Europe.

The game (released in Japan in 2005 and North America in April 2006), is a prequel to the first Atelier Iris title, Eternal Mana, and follows the story of two orphans as they try to save the world of Eden from destruction.

Featuring two distinct gameworlds where actions made in one impact upon the other, the RPG includes a number of improvements over the original title such as the Active Time Battle System (allowing players to see which enemy will strike first), Break Mode (to enhances attacks and hits on opponents), and for UK gamers more challenging monsters.
