That's it, development has concluded at Sport Interactive's Islington office...

SEGA Europe and Sports Interactive today sent word that development on the latest title in the perennial Football Manager series has been concluded, ahead of an October 20th release for the PC and Mac.

With over 100 new features Sports Interactive have focussed once again on the ease of use to help Football Manager 07 appeal to a new audience of first-time players, along with listening to the fans demands with the inclusion of such options as feeder clubs and take-overs from foreigner billionaires!

"The completion of Football Manager(tm) 2007 on PC, Mac and Intel Mac represents a big step forward in the Football Manager(tm) series. We've taken great care to listen carefully to all the wants and needs of our loyal fans and have delivered a game that is undoubtedly our best in series", said Miles Jacobson, Managing Director, Sports Interactive. "The new features in Football Manager(tm) 2007 make it incredibly user-friendly and strengthen the overall gameplay. By adding such things as the greatly requested feeder club system, demonstrates not only an awareness of our fans but also a drive to expand the experience".

Football Manager 07 will also arrive on the Xbox 360 before Christmas along with release of Football Manager Handheld 2007 on the PSP; look out for full opinions on the title soon.
