RockStar release new screens of CJ eating, drinking and more eating by the looks of things, San Andreas style…
Further details on GTA; San Andreas were today released onto the Net, via an earlier First Look from GameSpot.
The originally articles focuses on the need to keep CJ fed up and watered properly, the result of which affects not only your attributes such as speed, stamina, swimming, etc⦠but also as widely speculated will have a visual impact on the main character ⓠso one too many hamburgers and you may find yourself turning into a colossal beast incapable of movement. In addition players can get their hair chopped at a number of barber shops, although some cuts can cost up to $500!
Elsewhere itâs claimed that interaction with the environment will be increased, allowing CJ to make use of the environment for weapons; one particular example depicts CJ stealing a glass bottle from a trash-truck, which he promptly uses to beat his opponents around the head with.
Certainly San Andreas appears too offer far more then its predecessors, with high jumps from tall buildings resulting in nasty fatalities; whilst itâs claimed that the city of Los Santos (one of the three that make up San Andreas) is 1.5 times the size of Vice City and takes up just under a quarter of the entire map.
As youâll no doubt know, the âdrive-byâsâ have been enhanced significantly from their weak representations in previous games, now allowing players to drive around with up to four characters within the vehicle. Each character has their own aiming reticules, allowing you to target up to four different characters, whilst the damage of your vehicle is displayed on-screen.
