LucasArts forum announces that Star Wars: Battlefront is soon to be updated for Xbox Live…
In the near future, Battlefront fans can today look forward to an Xbox Live! update for the game. According to a thread on the LucasArts website, the updates will include:
- Voice identity. Player should now know WHO is talking
- Revised Voting Interface
- Ability to change teams
- Display Server Name in Game
- Droideka Headshot Collision Fix
- Display Planet Name on Load
- Auto Aim Off now removes all aim & control assistance
- Host can boot players without a vote
Not only that, but the update will also allow up to 32 players to battle it out in the forests of Endor and the other locations in the game â“ the host of the game must have at least 1.5Mb upload and download, but if you can find a host who has that capability, then the battles should be absolutely epic!
The thread also announced that a new mission is to be included in the update called Jabbaâs Palace, which should please Battlefront gamers no end.
At the moment the update is set for a worldwide release in January 2005, providing that it passes the Review Process, but weâll have more on this shortlyâ¦
